Quantum Break Review

Quantum Break dwells about a fracture in time and the fallacies of the inevitable yet simultaneously about finding solace in revenge by pursuing the end without question. Taking cues from science fiction culture the vision of such a time cracking event sends players through a well concocted story – considering its make up is more than gameplay elements but a wholesome effort combining clues scattered along the linear path the player traverses, the TV shows interweaved between the chapters, and the elaborate concept of time travel’s philosophies.

Privacy is a value proposition for the modern customer

How many people do you know that have security software that they pay for, installed on their mobile devices? Not that many? Doesn’t it put into perspective how many people have up until now not really cared about personal security?

Government and The Age of the Customer

Most governments have their set processes, services and procedures in place and it is no small feat to try and adjust them. What’s more is that these things are not usually designed with the customer (civilians) in mind, but are rather created around rules and regulations that’ve been followed for decades.

Creating superior customer experiences with cloud

Gartner has reported that by 2020, 85% of customer relationships will be managed without any sort of human-to-human contact. So what that ultimately means is that more and more business applications and interactions will live in the cloud as businesses realise that it is the best way to deliver a differentiating and superior customer experience that keeps customers coming back.

New things you need to know about millennial consumers

Millennials – the generation born from the early 1980s to the early 2000s – are game changers when it comes to how they communicate with businesses, what and how they purchase and what they value most. Exploring the way customers want to communicate with business

Well, as it always happens in the technology landscape, just as you are getting used to doing things one way, along comes a new way of doing things with new technologies. Leverage our services to give your customers a spot on experience

The customer experience has and always will be something that is extremely important to the success of any business, as we all know in the age of social media where complaints can be Tweeted, Facebooked, posted on Hello Peter or shared in online reviews. All it takes is one unhappy customer to tarnish the business reputation you have worked so hard to build.

Your business needs to become a disruptor

In the current market of digital technologies, disruption isn’t disruptive, it has become the norm, and customers are embracing change faster than ever before. According to a recent report from Forrester Research, 2016 is the year that will showcase which businesses are going to survive the disruption by digital processes.

Great customer experiences depend increasingly on mobility

Mobility is by no means new, but it is becoming increasingly important in many businesses to adopt even more mobile technology as customers are fast anticipating the ability to do everything via a mobile device.

More

Balancing security and the customer experience

Protecting your customers – whether that pertains to data or physical security – is very important. But what you don’t want, is for the security measures you take to hinder the customer experience, which is why it’s imperative to find a balance between being careful and being painful.

Will CIOs still be spending on cloud in 2016?

According to a poll of a wide variety of IT leaders across myriad industries and verticals by cio.com, cloud is still charging ahead as legacy systems are scrapped and mission-critical operations are transferred into a private or hybrid cloud infrastructure. These findings are consistent with analyst firm IDC’s predictions that spending on cloud software will exceed $112.8 billion by 2019.

The IT services CIOs can’t afford to skimp on in 2016

IT Services. There are many, some that are quintessential to keeping a business running like a well-oiled machine, and then there are others that CIOs can afford to spend a little less on, or even scrap completely as IT heads toward a digital-first world. So which services do CIOs need to plan for in their 2016 budgets?

CIOs will increase spend on understanding the consumer this year

Any technology or product that assists your business and its people to better understand what your consumer wants and needs, as well as offers up insights into how you can better meet their requirements is money well-spent. It should be no surprise then, that leading IT research and advisory company Gartner has predicted that 2016 will see a larger slice of IT budget go towards technologies that help businesses to better understand their customers.

Business mobility is key driver in CIO spend this year

According to Gartner’s Worldwide IT spending forecast of Q3 2015, CIOs will increase the amount of IT budget dedicated to digital business technologies in 2016. This brings to mind the question of what increasing digitisation means for business mobility. Would mobility in businesses as we know it today exist without digital technology? Not a chance. So then, can a business be digital without mobility? No way.

Will CIO budgets weather the economic storm?

There are many things that affect a CIO’s budget, among which is the company or department’s financial health, the industry in which it operates and of course, the state of the economy. In the last month, many South Africans have been in hysterics over the plummeting value of the rand, which is sure to affect every industry and government department in our country in some way or another – as technology simply becomes more expensive.

Businesses must continue embracing the consumerisation of IT

Let’s face it, BYOD is a trend that was and is driven by consumer employees and their need for mobility in their work. What does future enterprise mobility look like?

Enterprise mobility has always been an exciting concept. Enterprise mobility is inseparably linked to the consumer mobility world, a world that we, as individuals in enterprise mobility solutions can learn from. As trends like the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart cities grow, I find myself wondering what the future of enterprise mobility will look like.
