Blue Coat - Security Analytics 7.2 Beta Program

We are getting ready to launch the Security Analytics 7.2 beta program, and we would like your help to make it a success. Security Analytics 7.2 delivers new capabilities and enhancements to this leading network forensics technology, many of them requested by you, our customers! The Security Analytics 7.2 beta program will start in early October to the end of November. This beta code drop will provide early access to features such as:

  • Anomaly detection – an untrained machine learning algorithm to detect various types of anomalies in observed network traffic
  • Application classification updates – an updated version of the DPI engine; beta test cases will focus on SPDY decodes
  • Threat detection report – a PDF report with summary information of detected threats (A great tool to show executives of what Security Analytics uncovers and a way to answer "How is Security Analytics helping me identify threats?")
  • Selective capture – a feature wherein capture filters can be automatically triggered by a Rule (Action)

This is a great opportunity for existing Security Analytics customers to get a sneak peek at new features and for new customers to get a look at all the capabilities within Security Analytics. Your participation and feedback is important – we are seeking customers or partners who want to be active participants! Access requires registration and space is limited. If interested, please contact your Blue Coat Sales Rep or SE or feel free to email Ashlyn Haaga or Bryan Cardoza for questions about the beta.
